Right Coast Foods T/A Tautog's Restaurant was created to operate a first class food service business in the cottage. Sight, Sound and Smell is recipe for attracting customers interested in the finest casual dining experience in the coastal zone. Tautog's unique setting is intended to provide patrons a glimpse of the area's maritime past while enjoying some of today's finest seafood fare. All products offered at Tautog's Restaurant(s) have been developed with an emphasis on quality, consistency and timely delivery. Each product offered by Tautog's is a signature item that is developed in Right Coast Foods Kitchen or Right Coast Foods' contract kitchens. Each item in the Tautog's product line has been developed with the primary goal of meeting the seafood oriented demands of eastern seaboard consumers. Each product has been developed with consideration given to local tastes and bias, personal health issues, environmental impact concerns and long term profit related goals. Ayinger Oktober Fest-Märzen, one of the most highly-respected märzens available in the world and Germany's top-ranked Oktoberfest. Ayinger Brewery, founded in 1878 and located in the Bavarian village of Aying, 30 minutes from Munich, has earned a reputation for quality. Oktober Fest-Märzen is an honest märzen - full-bodied, rich lager with a malty bouquet and richness that stops short of sweetness. Color is deep amber-gold and the flavor is a perfect balance: malt backbone with depth & richness; complemented by perfect conditioning from long maturation; and alcohol of 5.8% by volume. Fest-Märzen is spiced with enough hops to make it snappy and thirst-quenching, but in the classic Bavarian style it's not highly bitter. While refining our methods to brew traditional ales, Brewmaster Geoff Logan toyed with a recipe inspired by his mother's pumpkin pie. The beer swiftly emerged as one of our most popular offerings. Though some claim the style trendy and increasingly ubiquitous, we cannot go one day without the query, "When will Alewerks Pumpkin Ale return?" Alewerks Pumpkin is made solely with fresh ingredients, spiced and baked in the oven before added to the brew. We Love This Place! My wife and I live about an hour away from VB on the Eastern Shore. We have been enjoying Tautogs for 16 years now. There is no better dish served here than flounder in a bag (parchment paper bag). The flounder is stuffed with crab and shrimp and OMG. Friendly, Great Service and really good prices. Our last visit was probably visit number 50 and we have never been disappointed. I compared the stuffed flounder prices of well known restaurants on the boardwalk which were $8-$9 less at Tautogs.
